NirSoft Resources Extract is a small, free application that scans files with dll, ocx and exe extensions, with the aim of ripping all the resources contained in this type of file, like bitmap images, icons, cursors, AVI videos, HTML resources, etc.

For this, you just have to specify in which folder or drive in your PC you want the search to be done, and the type of file to find. Then, automatically, NirSoft Resources Extract will analyze the PC and rip a copy of the files found to a folder you specify. You can work using a simple graphic interface, where you have all the options to hand, or for those advanced users, NirSoft Resources Extract also has a window to work using the command line.
